Be sure to book as far in advance as possible because local hotels fill up fast this time of year.
Listings you see on Craigslist are not searchable by when they are available, like airbnb.com. If you see a Craigslisting that looks promising, contact the poster to see if it is available in October. Listings come and go on Craigslist, so check back frequently.

Note: The DC Fairgrounds is not a public campground therefore; camping is limited to event participants, first come first serve. It is not available to show spectators. To pre-register for camping, the cost is $30.00 per night. On-site registration will be an additional $20.00 per night, pending availability.
Camping is for event participants only from 8am Thurs. Oct. 15 – Mon. Oct. 19, 2015. All campers must be removed by 10am Mon. Oct. 19th.
