Each award for this division would be $25.
Supreme Champion sponsorships are also needed: Supreme NC Ewe, Supreme NC Ram, Supreme NC Fleece, Supreme Ewe, Supreme Ram, Supreme Fleece.
Sponsorships for these awards are $75.
All sponsors will have their name on the banner on the sheep barn so, when responding, please let know how you would like your name listed.

This year all sale sheep will be housed in the upper barn.
Penning charts will be posted in both barns.
All sheep must be registered and have health papers. Health papers must be dated within 40 days of the NYSWF.

WE WILL ACCEPT ENTRIES UNTIL PENS ARE FILLED AT WHICH TIME A NOTICE WILL GO UP ON OUR WEBSITE. IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELLATION, WE WILL CONTACT THE NEXT PERSON ON THE LIST REQUIRING THE SAME (OR LESS) NUMBER OF PENS THAT HAVE BECOME AVAILABLE.

Sheep not signed in by 9:00 am will not be able to participate in the show.
Sheep may be penned from noon on Thursday, October 13 through 8 am on Saturday, October 15th. Animals will be released after the exhibitors’ meeting on Sunday with those living furthest away leaving first.
ONLY sheep entered in the show, sale or breed display may be housed on the grounds.
STRAW WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. Mastens Feed (834 635-2553) will be selling feed, straw and hay. If you need their services, please contact them ahead of time. If you’re not sure you will arrive during business hours, bring your own straw.

Classes with more than 15 entries will be divided.
Classes offered: Yearling Ram, Sr. Ram Lamb (9/1/14-12/31/14), Jr. Ram Lamb, Pair of Ram Lambs, Yearling Ewe, Sr. Ewe Lamb (9/1/14-12/31/14), Jr. Ewe Lamb, Pair of Ewe Lambs, Pen of Three Lambs (both sexes represented), Exhibitors’ Flock (1 ram, two yearling ewes, and two ewe lambs), best fleece (ONE entry per exhibitor).
All entries in group classes must be owned by ONE exhibitor. Exhibitors are limited to two premiums in all individual classes and one premium in group classes.

ALL EXHIBITORS IN THE LOWER BARN ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BREAKING DOWN THEIR PENS BEFORE LEAVING THE GROUNDS ON SUNDAY. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN THE FORFEITURE OF PREMIUMS.

All animals shall be inspected upon penning or as soon thereafter as possible by USDA personnel. For your convenience the fairgrounds is open until very late (10pm) on Friday, Oct. 14th. For your animals comfort and safety, you may unload your animals into the pens designated for your farm when you arrive. Look for several Penning Charts to find out where you are penned. If it is after 6PM on Friday, review of health papers may be deferred to Saturday AM. If animals are arriving Saturday, they MUST be unloaded and all vehicles removed from the sheep barn area by 8:30 AM. PLEASE PROVIDE US WITH A PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR HEALTH CERTIFICATE(S) TO KEEP ON FILE.
