STEP 3. In the week leading up to the Festival, October 11, 2021, click on the CDC's nifty "Coronavirus Self-Checker" tool, located on the left. Play with it now, if you want to see what it asks. You should use this as a guideline tool to surveil your own health before coming to the event. If you think you need to get tested before the event, please do so, preferably the day before or the day of the event. Why? Because viral load may be undetectable by a test today, but then become detectable tomorrow, so the closer to the event date that you get tested, the more useful it will be for determining your health status and decision making. We cannot mandate testing for all volunteers, but I strongly encourage it if you can.
