What You Need to Know About Registering Your Fleece in the NYS Sheep & Wool Fleece Show & Sale

Welcome

From your dashboard, you can:

• Manage your fleece entries
• Set pricing for each fleece
• Print your entry tags
• Track which entries are complete and ready for drop-off

Step 1: Complete Each Entry

After purchasing your entries, you’ll need to complete the details for each fleece.

Each entry requires:

• Breed
• Shear date
• Entry weight
• Sale price
• Category-specific details (such as color or class)

Entries marked as incomplete will not be eligible for check-in.

Step 2: Set Your Price

You will set the sale price for each fleece.

• Sales tax will be added automatically at the time of sale
• A 5% commission will be deducted from completed sales

Step 3: Print Your Entry Tags

Once your entry details are complete:

• Print your entry tags directly from this dashboard
• Each fleece must have a printed tag attached at drop-off
• Printed tags MUST BE in a clear plastic bag with no printing or markings

Each tag includes:

• Entry number
• QR code (used for check-in)
• Barcode (used for tracking and sale)

Step 4: Prepare Your Fleeces

Before arriving:

• Ensure all entries are complete
• Fleeces should be clean, dry, and properly prepared inside a clear plastic bag
• Attach printed tags securely to each bag

Drop-Off Instructions

Bring your fleeces during the scheduled drop-off window:

• Thursday, 12 pm to 4pm, or Friday, 9:30 am to 3pm
• Building B

At check-in:

• Staff will scan your entry tags

Important Notes

• Incomplete entries may not be accepted
• Tags must be printed and attached before arrival in clear plastic bags
• Entry information must be finalized before the registration deadline

After the Festival

• Unsold fleeces must be picked up Sunday after 3:00 PM at the designated location
• Payments for sold fleeces will be processed within 60 days following the event
