All requests related to workshop cancellations, transfers, gifts, or attendee substitutions must be submitted by email to workshops@sheepandwool.com. Requests sent to any other Festival email address may delay processing and could affect eligibility for refunds or transfers.

No exceptions will be made to this policy.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you need to cancel your workshop registration, the following refund schedule applies:

Material Fees

Material fees are handled directly between the instructor and the student. The Festival does not issue refunds for material fees and cannot guarantee their reimbursement.

Workshop Transfers

Participants may transfer into another available workshop provided:

• The request is made at least 15 days before workshops begin (September 30, 2026).
• Space is available in the requested workshop.
• Registration for the new workshop is completed.
• The $25 processing fee is paid.

If the new workshop costs more than the original workshop, the participant will be invoiced for the difference. If the new workshop costs less, a refund for the difference will be issued.

Material fee adjustments remain the responsibility of the instructor and student.

No exceptions will be made to the workshop transfer policy.

Selling or Gifting a Workshop Registration

Participants may sell or gift their workshop registration to another attendee. A $25 processing fee applies to all attendee substitutions.

To complete the transfer, the original registrant (seller) must provide the new attendee’s:

• Full name
• Email address
• Contact information

The Festival’s role is limited to updating registration information. Any arrangements regarding payment between the seller and buyer are the responsibility of the individuals involved.

No exceptions will be made to the sell/gift transfer policy.

Registration Errors

Scheduling conflicts, registration mistakes, duplicate registrations, or other registration errors made by the attendee may be corrected, subject to availability, with payment of the $25 processing fee.

Instructor Cancellation Policy

Occasionally, a workshop may need to be canceled due to instructor illness, travel delays, or other circumstances beyond the Festival’s control.

If a workshop is canceled by the Festival:

• Registered students will be notified as soon as possible by email or telephone (if a phone number has been provided).
• Students may transfer into another available workshop, subject to capacity.
• If a suitable replacement workshop is not selected, a refund for the canceled workshop registration will be issued.

The Festival is not responsible for:

• Travel expenses
• Lodging expenses
• Material fees
• Any other costs incurred as a result of the cancellation

If a participant elects to transfer into a replacement workshop, no additional refund will be provided beyond any applicable difference in workshop fees.
