Lyn Slade is a needle felting artist, author, teacher and innovator. She’s continuously experimenting to find new ways to combine needle felting with other art mediums. Her newest obsession is mixing up needle felting with gelli plate mono prints. Her artwork is exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums in the New England area.

Lyn has been teaching needle felting for two decades. She has mentored students who have grown to the point that they are now teachers too. Lyn loves sharing her knowledge and making new friends at the same time. Coming to NYS&W for so many years, she looks forward to seeing some familiar faces in workshops while welcoming new ones.

In her light-filled studio in Bolton Massachusetts Lyn focuses most of her time on making original art for exhibitions or commissions. But when the calendar permits she offers group workshops, 1:1 intensives, and artist gatherings.
