Used Fiber & Sheep Equipment Auction

Auction Information & Rules
The NYS Sheep & Wool Festival Auction provides an opportunity for attendees to buy and sell quality sheep, fiber, equipment, and related items. Please review the following information before participating.
- Consignments will be accepted from 12:00 PM–5:00 PM on Thursday and 9:00 AM–5:00 PM on Friday.
- The Auction Committee reserves the right to refuse any item for sale. Consignors are encouraged to submit only items that are clean, functional, and in good condition.
- The auction will take place in the Main Livestock Ring on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
- All items are sold as-is, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.
- The NYS Sheep & Wool Festival, Dutchess County Sheep & Wool Growers Association, and its representatives are not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or condition of any consigned or purchased item.
- Responsibility for purchased items transfers to the buyer at the time of sale.
- A 15% commission will be deducted from all successful sales. New York State sales tax may apply where required by law.
- Consignors are responsible for removing all sold and unsold items from the Festival grounds by 7:00 PM on Saturday, unless prior arrangements have been made with the Auction Committee.
- The following items will not be accepted for sale: pharmaceuticals, vaccines, de-wormers, insecticides, pesticides, chemicals, or similar regulated products.
- Consignors are limited to one lot each of roving, yarn, yardage, and fabric scraps.
- Fleeces are not permitted in the auction.
