As the name suggests, a light weight mitten that's fun to wear. Working diagonally with self striping sock yarn they are also fun to knit. They are definitely a unique way to show off your favorite yarn. The length is adjustable to fit.
Prerequisites: Good intermediate knitting skills - pattern reading and knitting in the round.

There is no material fee for this workshop.
Students must bring: Self striping sock yarn: about 230 yards for the pair, needles: 3mm (US#2) double points (or circular and use the magic loop method), removable stitch markers, 2 stitch holders (marker pins can be used for this job).
Homework: Knit at a square about 4"x4" to check your gauge: 16 sts/20 rows to 2” square measured over stockinette stitch.
