Learn the ancient art of spinning yarn on a drop spindle. In this class we will discuss the characteristics of wool and adding twist to transform it into yarn. Experience the magic of spinning your own yarn and make your friends jealous. No experience necessary; just a good attitude. Fiber and the use of instructor's spindles will be provided during the class.
Plying will not be covered.
Prerequisite: No experience necessary.

Material Fee -
A material fee of $10 will be collected by the instructor - cash, check, or Venmo. It includes 2 oz of Wool and 2 oz of Alpaca/Silk.
Students must bring: n/a
We also suggest bringing a battery operated light should you need additional lighting.
NOTE: There is no onsite ATM on Thursday and Friday.
