You only need to register for Part 1 (Thursday) workshop. You'll be enrolled in Part 2 (Friday morning) by the workshop manager within a week.
Crocheted amigurumi are those adorable stuffies everyone is making! You want to make them too so let's get started! From creating the pieces to the assembly and embellishment, this class will give you the skills you need to bring them to life. During class, we'll be making a cute little rabbit. During the first session, we'll cover the increases, decreases and general shaping guidelines to create all of the body parts. We'll also lay the foundation for attached clothing. During the second session, we'll assemble the parts that you complete between sessions, embroider details and add an attached piece of clothing (skirt or pants).
What you will learn: Magic ring start for crochet, counting stitches, increases and invisible crochet decreases, embellishing and assembling amigurumi, changing colors in crochet, working single loop crochet stitches to create attachment points for clothing.
DURATION: 1/2 day x 2 sessions for a total of 6 hours.
SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner - must be able to single crochet stitch
HOMEWORK: none prior to class - between sessions time may be needed to complete body parts
