Handcards are not just for preparing fleece! In this workshop you will use carders to blend fibers, rejuvenate tired roving, play with color and texture and create gradient "fauxlags". A great way to get more from your stash! Learn great ways to combine fiber and how to get repeatable results. All your sampling will go home with you to spin.
Prerequisites: Some handcarding experience is helpful but not required, but all levels are welcome.

There is a $20 fee included in the price of registration. This includes: Approximately 4 oz of mixed fibers including Merino, BFL dyed top, silk, mohair and angora and dyed long wool locks.
Students must bring: Handcarders. I will have a limited number to share. Pen for notes.
