Curious about weaving on a rigid heddle loom but not sure where to start? This one-day workshop will cover basic skills from planning a project, setting up the loom, winding a shuttle, and practicing plain weave with a few variations. Once the loom is dressed, you will be able to get started on a scarf or sampler.
Skill Level Required: Beginner.

Students must bring:
assembled rigid heddle loom with accessories - clamps, warping peg, heddle and shuttles, 2 skeins of yarn suitable for the dents per inch of your reed/heddle (contact instructor for help in choosing a yarn), measuring tape, scissors, pen and paper.
We also suggest bringing a battery operated light should you need additional lighting.
