|Time:||1:00 - 4:00|
You've seen them, right? The big porch rockers, sad, with no seat? Learn the basics of weaving the New England Porch Weave on a stool. At the least, you will have a gorgeous natural material (reed) stool and a new skill. If you're adventurous, you can become a chairnerd and start saving sad chairs and restore them to their former glory!
Prerequisites: Intermediate level - you need some hand strength, ability to stand for long periods of time and don't mind your hands being wet.
Note: This workshop will be held in a heated tent. Your hands may be in and out of water.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions regarding class content.
There is a $45 material fee included in the price of registration. It includes: reeds and unfinished oak stool (10 x 13 x 13).
Students must bring: Scissors or clippers.
