Join Jennifer and Melissa VanSant of Going gnome to make the Rhinebeck gnome of 2022! This year’s special edition Rhinebeck gnome is a salute to all the wonderful shepherding people out there, caring for, loving, and raising the sheep that provide us the wonderful fibers for our making. This shepherd is working hard to support his mama sheep during lambing season.
In this fun and creative workshop you will learn to make a 3 dimensional figure, make and attach felted pieces to one another, and apply surface decoration. You will also make a tiny lamb for your gnome. This is a great class for absolute beginners, but has plenty to offer those with needle felting experience.
This is an exclusive class for NY Sheep and Wool - taught only this one time ever! Come make the 2022 Rhinebeck gnome shepherd and his lamb!
