Have you always wanted to Braid a rug? Braiding is a great way to relax and in this fun class you will learn the basics while making a small mat that can be used as a hot pad, chair pad or just a mat for a table. You'll be on to bigger projects in no time!
Skill Level Required: All levels. While there is no real prerequisites, you should be able to thread a needle and make a basic running stitch or a back stitch to join your wool strips together.

There is a material fee of $40 which is included in the registration fee.
It includes: Wool fabric, braid aids, lacing threads, lacing needle and a small booklet on Braiding. You will have the use of braiding clamps, pliers, needles and threads in the class.
Students must bring: A small pair of scissors will be needed. Don't forget your glasses for close up work if you need them!
We also suggest bringing a battery operated light should you need additional lighting.
