Learn the wonders of felting with Nica Rabinowitz. Locally sourced and dyed wool will be provided for participants to explore wet felting. Everyone will walk away with felted shapes that can be needle felted into a a garment or experimental piece. You will learn how to felt-in-shape. This will allow you to create felt in the shape of your pattern pieces and create fully felted zero waste garments/accessories. Learn to make locally sourced and hand crafted garments/accessories in a cost effective and sustainable way. Participants will create a collective piece as group, in addition to their individual felted creations.
Prerequisites: Beginner - All levels welcome.

Note: This workshop will be held in a heated tent. Your hands may be in and out of water.
There is a $30 material fee included in the price of registration. It includes: wool, felting mat, soap, tangled workbook.
Students should wear clothes they don't mind getting wet.
