Join Jennifer and Melissa VanSant of Going Gnome to make the Rhinebeck gnome of 2024! This year’s special edition Rhinebeck gnome is a salute to all the fun shopping we get to do every year at New York Sheep and Wool! This gnome has filled his basket with his Rhinebeck haul – fleece, yarn, and all kinds of goodies!

In this fun and creative workshop you will learn to make a 3 dimensional figure, make and attach felted pieces to one another, and apply surface decoration. This is a great class for absolute beginners, but has plenty to offer those with needle felting experience.

This is an exclusive class for NY Sheep and Wool - taught only this one time ever!

MATERIAL FEE:  A material fee of $30 will be collected by the instructor via cash or card.  It includes:  all wool and needles needed to complete the project, as well as a foam felting pad

STUDENTS MUST BRING:  N/A

We also suggest bringing a battery operated light should you need additional lighting.

NOTE:  There is no onsite ATM on Thursday and Friday.
