Workshop Info

The Natural Dye Rainbow is a yarn dyeing workshop exploring a little bit of everything in the natural dye world. We will go over proper fiber prep and mordanting, equipment, and proper dye procedures for a variety of dye sources. This workshop is a mixture of lecture, demonstration and hands on learning. Each participant will receive a full set of mini skeins dyed in class, usually around 14 colors, 600-700 yards total.

THIS WORKSHOP IS HELD IN A HEATED TENT.  Your hands may be in and out of water throughout the session.

MATERIAL FEE:  A material fee of $75 will be collected by the instructor via cash or Venmo.  It includes:  a detailed handout, a full set of mini skeins dyed in class and all dyes

STUDENTS MUST BRING:  note taking materials, plastic bag or bins for transporting damp yarns

NOTE:  There is no onsite ATM on Thursday and Friday.
