Have you ever worked a mis-crossed cable and not known how to fix it? Made a mistake in a simple lace pattern and had to rip all the way back to get back on track? You can fix your knitting without ripping it all out and starting over! In this class we will learn some more advanced ‘knit fixes’ to help you gain confidence in fixing your knitting instead of ripping out and starting over. Skills students will learn: Several ways to fix a mis-crossed cable. Recognizing and fixing mistakes in simple lace patterns.
Skill Level Required: Intermediate - Must know cabling, simple lace, basic fixing of mistakes – picking up dropped stitches, laddering up, ripping out, tinking, etc.
Swatch #1 Using same yarn, cast on 14 stitches. Work Cable Mis-crossings Chart through Row 26. (Chart has mistakes in it – work it as is!) Leave knitting on the needles (or place on stitch holder.)
Swatch #2 Using same yarn, cast on 25 stitches. Work Lace Mistakes Chart through Row 15. (Chart has mistakes in it – work it as is!) Leave knitting on the needles (or place on stitch holder.)
