Rug hooking has been my passion since 1978. In 1983, I began teaching and still offer classes in all methods of rug hooking at my studio in La Grangeville NY, as well as select venues throughout the region. I continue to teach Rug Hooking 101 at the New York State Sheep and Wool Festival.
In November 2015 it was my great honor to be chosen to recreate a rug for Eleanor Roosevelt’s sleeping porch at Val-Kill, Hyde Park, NY. The commissioned rug was completed and installed in March of 2016.
I’ve published two articles in Rug Hooking Magazine: both on Oriental rugs, Petite Persian (March/April/May 1992) and Paisley Garden (September/ October 1990).
I look forward to teaching you the art of rug hooking. It will open your eyes to a whole new world of creativity!
