Luis Macia is an accomplished artist originally from New York City. He has exhibited in group and solo shows in New York City and around the Hudson Valley. Luis works in a variety of mediums including oils, watercolor, pastels, and several printmaking techniques including etching, lithography and solar printing.

In addition to receiving several grants from the Greene County Council of the Arts, now known as CREATE, Luis has participated in the Monothon Invitational at the Woodstock School of Art for several years.

Luis teaches group drawing and painting classes at the Heermance Memorial Library, Columbia-Greene Community College and Siuslaw Model Forest.

Running painting groups, classes and drawing marathons enables Luis to share his expertise and add to the art culture of the Hudson Valley.
