Carlise Azmitia is a working artist, teacher and Hudson Valley native. She regularly travels the region teaching felting, paper quilling, watercolor and meditative art. 2025 has seen her teaching debuts at Adams School of Art at Hammond Museum, Peters Valley School of Craft and several area libraries. Going on 3 years as the art educator at Orange-Ulster Boces Adult Continuing Education and teaching artist in felting at Garrison Art Center. Her workshop studio in Florida, NY allows people to come together to learn, share ideas, and most importantly be creative during her Kit and kaDoodle Fridays, a kit cafe. Carlise is over the moon to once again teach at NY Sheep and Wool.
