Twined (or 2-end) knitting is a traditional Scandinavian technique dating back to 17th century Sweden. Twined knitting uses both ends of the same ball of yarn, alternating between the two strands. The “”twining”” of the strands adds an additional layer of thickness, creating a durable, firm and flexible fabric. You will knit a pair of wrist warmers as you learn a 2-color cast on, twined knit and purls, crook, chain, braids stitches. As a bonus you will receive a pattern for a pair of mittens.
