Workshop Info

Knit a sample size mitten using authentic stitch patterns and Norwegian wools in your choice of color on a cream background. Topics covered include a ribbed or hemmed cuff, picot edge, tangle-free 2 color stranding knitting, chart reading, thumb gussets and blocking. You will leave with a pattern for the mitten shown in the photos.

SKILL LEVEL REQUIRED:  Intermediate

PREREQUISITE:  Student must be able to knit with double-pointed needles.

MATERIAL FEE:  A material fee of $15 will be collected by the instructor via cash or Venmo.  It includes:  Norwegian wool yarn for a sample mitten and pattern for a pair of adult mittens, folder.

STUDENTS MUST BRING:  US # 4 double-point needles, scissors and tapestry needle.

We also suggest bringing a battery operated light should you need additional lighting.
