Stranded knitting uses two or more colors per row to create gorgeous colorwork items. Fair Isle is a specific category of stranded knitting.
We’ll cover the basics of stranded knitting and Fair Isle and get the hang of working it while knitting a hat with a simple motif. We will also cover yarn management, methods of tensioning, yarn dominance issues, choosing colors for patterns, reading colorwork charts, decreasing in pattern, and weaving in ends.
Skill Level Required: Intermediate - Knitting in the round, basic decreases.
