Workshop Info

Have you ever wanted to spin your own yarn? Come join us and learn the basics of using a handspindle. Learn how to draft the fibers and use the spindle to create yarn. We will also cover how to ply, wind a skein and finish your yarns. No experience necessary! Spindles and wool roving will be provided.

SKILL LEVEL REQUIRED:  Absolute Beginner

MATERIAL FEE:  A material fee of $10 will be collected by the instructor via cash or Venmo.  It includes: folder, handouts, wool roving (approximately 2 ounces)

STUDENTS MUST BRING:  N/A

We also suggest bringing a battery operated light should you need additional lighting.
