Knitting with beads can be a fun way to add a little sparkle or a burst of contrasting color to your projects. This workshop is based on the River of Beads shawl, which features twining ribbons accented with lines of beads, framed by delicate lace. The asymmetrical shape of the project allows knitters to use up all of one's yarn. The workshop will help students practice their lace knitting skills and will teach the crochet hook method of beading (rather than pre-stringing the beads beforehand).
