Due to the popularity of Wendy's classes, the number of seats available on opening day will be limited to 9. Students can sign up for either the Thursday or Friday workshop, but not both.
Here's a basket to take wherever you go and keep your drop spindle or small project with you. Students will learn how to weave a filled base as well as weave and shape the sides of a small traditional backpack style basket. The basket will be finished with a long leather handle, rims and lashing.
This workshop is held in a heated tent. Your hands will be in and out of water throughout the session.
Prerequisite: There will be a focus on shaping for this basket. Any previous basket experience will be helpful.
Skill Level Required: All levels welcome.
Homework: No
