Feel a little rusty or have you lost confidence in your spinning? Refresh your skills! Start with learning how to adjust your wheel for the best spinning experience and move on to a review of drafting techniques with a goal of spinning a consistent, easy to reproduce yarn no matter what fiber you are spinning.

You will spin and ply yarns from several fibers preparations including roving, top and batts. Learn how to troubleshoot and evaluate your yarns as part of your journey to becoming a confident, in control spinner.

SKILL LEVEL:  Beginner with some experience

PREREQUISITES:  Open to all who can spin yarn without assistance, must have some spinning experience. Instructor provides: all spinning fiber, folder, handouts.

A material fee of $20 to be paid to the instructor via Venmo or cash.

Material fee includes: all spinning fiber (approximately 4 oz of mixed wools, silk, mohair...), folder, handouts.

Student should bring:  Please bring a wheel in good working condition, 3 bobbins, lazy kate, niddy noddy, pen or pencil for notes.
