Workshop Info

Intimidated by sweaters because you aren’t sure how to seam them? Have you ever knit a lovely sweater that was marred by a not-so-perfect seaming job? Don’t let your fear of finishing hold you back! We’ll cover basic finishing skills that can make your hand-knit sweaters shine.

Prerequisite: Knit, purl, cast on, and bind off.

Skill Level Required:  Intermediate

Homework:  Six small homework swatches, blocked. Homework document available here.

There is no material fee for this workshop.  Instructor will provide hand-outs.

Students must bring:  Homework swatches, worsted weight yarn in a contrasting color to the swatches, working needles in size appropriate to yarn (size 7 or 8 will work for most knitters), tapestry needles, and scissors.

We also suggest bringing a battery operated light should you need additional lighting.
