Have you ever knit a narrow strip, entrelac, or a 10-stitch blanket and wondered if there is an easier way - where you didn't have to turn your work so frequently? Welcome to mirror knitting! Mirror knitting is simply knitting backwards – and it can speed up any small stitch count knitting by allowing you to always work with the right side facing you. Join us for this class on how to knit backwards – and learn a new knitting trick while knitting a tiny coin purse.
Prerequisite: Basic knitting skills
Skill Level Required: Beginner
Homework: Using worsted weight yarn and appropriately sized needles, cast on 25 sts. Work 10 rows in stockinette st. Leave knitting on needles. (Note: a smooth, light-colored yarn will help to make stitches easier to see.)

Note: Images are a representation of the workshop project.
There is no material fee for this workshop. The instructor will provide hand-outs.
Students must bring: About 25 yards of worsted weight yarn (same yarn used for homework.) Needles used for homework. Crochet hook, about size US 7, and one size 5/8" button.
We also suggest bringing a battery operated light should you need additional lighting.
