In this workshop learn about traditional Icelandic lace shawls (lace stitches, construction and finishing) as you knit a sample size shawl using Icelandic lace weight yarn (Einband). You will receive a full size shawl pattern to take with you.
SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Intermediate
PREREQUISITES: Student should have experience with lace knitting - working yarn overs, decreases, chart reading.

A material fee of $15 to be paid to the instructor via Venmo or cash.
Material fee includes: Icelandic Einband lace yarn for sample shawl, folder, handouts, pattern for sample and full size shawl.
Student should bring: 24" or 32" circular needle US size 4 (3.5mm) and 5 (3.75mm), stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, pen or pencil for notes.
Students may also want to bring a battery operated task light, if needed.
NOTE: THERE ARE NO ATMs OPEN ON THURSDAY/FRIDAY.
