Learn how to "paint with wool" in this beginner needle felting workshop. Students will learn how to use a felting needle to layer and attach wool fiber to a linen fabric backing to make this landscape. These techniques can be applied to other flat needle felting projects.
Prerequisite: No experience necessary however students must have good hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity and be able to work with focus and care - felting needles are sharp!

A material fee of $50 will be collected by the instructor (cash or card). It includes Full needle felting kit + 10x10 foam mat, Beginner's Guide to Needle Felting (a bit of general information), Instruction Sheet with pictures of every step, Two felting needles in a handy paper tube, Two types of felting wool (9 colors in total), Linen fabric backing, High quality 7 in. wooden hoop, and a 10x10 foam mat (the work surface).
Students must bring: Finger Guards or felting tools if they have some. Tools and finger guards will be available to borrow during class for those who don't have them.
We also suggest bringing a battery operated light should you need additional lighting.
