Workshop Info

Learn how to weave a “5 over 5” herringbone weave using binder cane (rattan) to create a pleasing design on a stool that is bound to become an heirloom.

This class is held in a heated tent. Your hands may be in and out of water throughout the workshop. You may be standing throughout the workshop.

Skill Level Required: Intermediate - you must be able to follow a diagramed weaving pattern.

There is a material fee of $56 which is included in the registration fee.  It includes: 10 x 13 x 13 stool, binder cane, buckets, stapler, stool, and filler.

Students must bring:  scissors.

We also suggest bringing a battery operated light should you need additional lighting.
